Australian Scaffolds & Access are a trusted national leader in eliminating working at height risk through smarter design & work practices across all industries. We have an impressive range of products, for sale and hire, available across Australasia. We are entering another growth phase with several new solutions launches scheduled for 2021-22 and need a Sales Manager to be exclusively focused on leading the sales team and developing our sales processes.

The role has three distinct components:

Your focus firstly is on coaching our existing stable and very loyal sales team through this growth. All of our success so far has been built on our people and we never take this for granted. Our team has been managed directly by our founder and CEO but with recent growth, the sales team needs the focus of a sales professional to help them realise new personal bests and navigate the changes ahead.

Next is an overhaul of our sales practices to maximise the greater volume effectively following the product expansion that starts in 2021. We have a track record of product and delivery innovation, always looking for ways to create sustainable growth. We have all the raw ingredients, good people, marketing campaigns that generate leads and an existing client base, next we need to streamline the client engagement techniques to ensure every sale opportunity is consistently managed.

Finally, your role will be to grow the team both in Sydney and replicating this into satellite sales offices across Australia.

It’s a huge job, so we need someone who has some sales management experiences to offer immediately. But also someone who is still learning and evolving and willing to push into the unknown.


Experience managing people.

Ideally, you’ve managed a sales team, or are the 2IC or team leader of a sales team and bursting with fresh ideas.

Solid sales ability.

You will not be carrying a personal quota but you will be helping close deals and teaching future recruits. Experience in selling within construction is preferred but not mandatory if you have…
