We have been providing real estate services since 1927 and as a result have the area’s biggest rent roll. That’s 6 generations of buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants that we have serviced and continues to return to us and refer us to their friends. That means there isn’t a square centimetre of our market we haven’t had extensive experience with and numerous examples to offer new clients to prove the effectiveness of our service.
Our business is now owned and run by David Cradock who has been a member of our office since 1980 and the owner since 1995. That’s a lot of local knowledge and Real Estate expertise! David is a seasoned industry professional with extensive business management skills and experience whose focused on the success of the entire team.
In 2008 we joined the Wiseberry group. With this much local knowledge why join a network? So that we can continue to focus all our personal energy on the local market without having tore- invent the business management wheel to stay up with the latest industry trends and tools.

Sales Cadet Program focused on professional selling
Despite all the advantages our market and office offer a new member we never under estimate the complexity and sophistication of helping our vendors and buyers make the biggest commercial decisions of their life. The enormity of our sales needs extensive and finely tuned sales skills quite different to other sales jobs. We don’t leave you to work any of this for yourself as many other businesses will.
The first part of this is the careful selection of staff to join our team using a sales specific selection process called Sales Inventory Profile (SIP). We offer only the appropriate people a role with us defined firstly by their ability to sell (even if currently dormant). As we said selling real estate requires specific sales skills and we will only offer a role to candidates we are confident can succeed.
When you start with us we offer you an extensive initial training program provided by our partner company Synergy First. This is a process that starts with an initial week long training that ensures you have the full process to cover every sales situation.
We then partner you with our business leader David Cradock to ensure you see how these skills are implemented in practical circumstances and allowing you time to develop your own wording to suit your style without losing sales while you are learning. David will guide you in a systematic way through all the parts of the business and residential listing and selling process at a speed that suits your current experience and learning style.
This is not a one size fits all training process. Given your existing business experience and confidence you may be in the role of cadet between 12 to 36 months.
Our support continues well past the cadet phase with our training partner Synergy providing ongoing training on a weekly/monthly basis to help us stay current with new tools in the market as well as share our sales experience to keep us all current.
Our inner city market place
Sydney’s Inner City market and to be exact the Newtown/Enmore/Stanmore/Marrickville circle is Australia’s most robust and steadily growing market.
Our market includes two of Australia’s most prestigious universities, Australia’s largest teaching hospital, only two stops by train (while the outer suburbs have been pleading for train’s for over 30 years) or 15 minutes on a bus from the CBD and our beautiful harbour. Then for the convenience of daily living we have two full size shopping centres and a patchwork of parks, pools and outdoor areas.
Despite this heavy commercial pulling power our suburbs all still function as welcoming and intimate villages and have the human elements that makes living in an international city pleasurable and leading on this issue has to be the COFFEE and the impressive selection of Cafes from pram friendly to those with 24 hour opening and an equal number of other food and entertainment venues.

The right financial package
We understand it takes time and resources to build a real estate selling career. That’s why we offer a base retainer plus commission package. We don’t want you starving to death before you have a chance to reach your selling potential.
You will be earning commission after the initial basic 3 month training program on a sliding scale reflecting your growing autonomy. David wants you to learn your craft and develop your local knowledge so that by the end of your cadet program you too will be a recognised local authority.
