Are you keen on a long term role within the Palm Beach area where you can be a key part of the administrative team working within a large and energetic office?
We are looking for a part-time bookkeeper with a minimum Cert IV in Financial Services Bookkeeping who is Xero and BAS certified with DEXT or similar experience for an immediate start.
We will provide all training for specialist Real Estate systems and for your long term professional development.
You will be responsible for all aspects of our accounts with the support of a fully qualified accountant in the Philippines.
The role requires 15+ hours a week working from our office, with regard to all COVID requirements, in the combination that suits you best. We are also very accommodating of unexpected personal events to support our staff and their families. We are open 8 am-8 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.

One team, three offices
You will be joining a group of three First National offices under a single management team at our newly built Palm Beach office. This office is home to two of the three sales teams, the Property Management division, and the marketing and administration support for the group. We are a large and vibrant team and need a bookkeeper who has both the eye for detail and systems capacity required accounts as well as a comfort level working in a bustling high energy environment.
Reporting to David Hamilton
You will be reporting to one of our three business owners and licensee David Hamilton who has a wealth of real estate experience and knowledge about all of our systems with unparalleled knowledge and commitment to innovation.
Starting as a Company Secretary and legal officer David moved to the Gold Coast in the early 70’s when it was small enough to be a local community, barely bigger than a one pub town. A few years later David started his real estate career joining this agency and buying out the business in 1986. David is now a lot more than just a leading agent in the area; he is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland, wrote many of the First National marketing systems during his time as Technology Director for the First National network and served for two years as its Chairman.

Our offices hold current First National Quality Assurance accreditation for our practices and procedures. The First National Quality Assurance System is modelled on ISO 9002 International Standard. If we are not satisfied that were operating at Best Practice, we change our procedures.
Systems and Technology Leadership
Using the network’s resources and our local strength, we have taken our internal, systems and technology leadership to another level. For example, using our systems, we can consistently achieve vacancy rates about half the RTA estimated industry average for the Gold Coast.
