The role
As the dedicated on-site agency for Sydney Park Village and Huntley Green, we have an amazing position of respect and community with our landlords and tenants alike.
“People who need people are the luckiest people in the world…” so the old Barbra Streisand song goes! Here at Park Properties, we value people who have people skills. We require an experienced Residential Property Manager to join our well-resourced and supportive property management team.
Our Property Management department is divided into several sections including this role of the Property Manager, who manages the ongoing relationship with our tenants and the actual properties. This means you can plan your day and focus your attention without being pulled in a hundred directions like in other PM roles.
Separate team members deal with showing the properties when they become vacant, doing all the accounts work and we have a dedicated Business Development Manager who is focused on selling new management rights and ensuring the success of ongoing relationships with vendors and the growth of the businesses.
Our superior process, industry leading automation, and work practices mean you can concentrate on building relationships with our tenants with less distraction, therefore, less stress and ultimately more job satisfaction, delivering high service standards! Park Properties was opened in 1998 by the developer of the Sydney Park Village and Huntley Green complexes to provide onsite support for all sales and rental needs. We are the only agency in walking distance of the extensive residential developments around Sydney Park and the new Ashbury estate. This puts us in an incredible position as the local “go-to” real estate professionals for an incredibly large owner and tenant population.
We have a beautiful, modern, professionally appointed office on the Mitchell Road frontage of Sydney Park Village and are one of six retail units. Like other residents, we have full use of the complex facilities including tennis courts, a pool and dedicated parking. Yes, there is a car space with your name on it!
Professional Property Management Leadership
Principal Melissah McCaffery is a second generation real estate agent who grew up running errands since high school and working on reception on Saturdays in her mother Julie McCaffery’s agency on the NSW South Coast. At the end of school, she became the full-time Receptionist, then a Property Manager, before the family moved to Sydney in 2003.
Melissah joined Park Properties in 2006 as a Property Manager and became the Licensee a few years later buying the business in 2013. Her mother Julie has since joined her as the trust accountant. Between them, they have over 50 years’ experience so you will never be left wondering how to manage any issue.
Unlike other agencies where the Principal is a busy listing agent Melissah works within the Property Management department and is a wealth of knowledge of our community. With now 19 years’ real estate experience, she has firsthand knowledge of every aspect of the role so you will never be stuck dealing with a difficult situation alone.
