2013 is the year for growth! PAH is looking for more opportunities to expand branches starting with Bankstown and Parramatta in order to reach untapped market segments. PAH requires a Business Development Manager who can explore our market niches and effectively reach them with our brand.

This new role is vital to company development and therefore reports directly to the Managing Director, Grant Burley. Grant has a proven sales background spanning over 25 years and in that time has assisted organisations establish sales force effectiveness platforms (SFE) as well as building businesses from start up, he is a dynamic and confident Managing Director – a great mentor for you!

Thrifty have a great reputation for combining both quality and competitive pricing in product offerings. It is a brand with great recognition with more than 200 branches across Australia and more than a 1000 branches in 80 countries across the globe.

Pacific Automotive Holdings Pty Ltd (PAH) currently own 40 of those offices, most of which are in the Sydney basin with some threw NSW. Along with growing the sales within each of our offices with this role we have clear plans for expanding with new offices.

It’s all about you

The great thing about this role is that you will always be talking business with business people; they’re interesting, self motivated people with logistics issues that you can help them with. If you love business and love helping clients grow by offering practical solutions to their everyday business transportation issues you will love working with our commercial clients. Initially you’ll focus on small business in the vital south west and western business hubs. Later as your experience and contacts grow Grant will help you evolve your selling process to reach the large corporations in these areas.

The position comes with a solid remuneration package including a car and as you might expect some overnight country travel – a good break from the big smoke  as you lend a hand to developing sales opportunities without regional our branch managers. There is an incentive program and plenty of room to grow. Grow your skills, your contacts and ultimately your income.
