We have one of the Southern Gold Coast’s biggest rent rolls = more resources, more personal development and more job satisfaction!

Join our Palm Beach Office within the Property Management team providing admin support and work within one of Australasia’s most respected real estate names, First National.

We have a long history of finding and training our property managers from the ground up. Many of our Property Management staff started their careers with us in this role as Property Management Associates. This role gives you the time to learn to handle people in varied circumstances, both landlords, and tenants, solve problems and deal with issues.

Your role will be to provide administrative support to five property managers and a Business Development manager at our Palm Beach office. You will provide them with front desk support to handle day-to-day contact with tenants both in person and by phone, web listing uploads, emarketing and a variety of routine clerical tasks.  All the time, we promise, you will be learning how to become a great Property Manager.

From the very start you will be provided with on-site mentoring, so you can become an expert at our systems, weekly on-site training, and monthly external training all paid for by the office.

We are looking for somebody who can go on to become a fully qualified member of our elite Property Management team and be responsible for a portfolio of 250 properties and constantly maintain best practice standards in Property Management.

This role reports directly to our Property Management Team Leader in the Palm Beach office. Our Property Management division comprises three teams and is headed by Property Management director, Dorothy Hamilton. Dorothy is one of the best-known and most highly regarded Property Managers in First National as well as a highly respected trainer, mentor and speaker throughout Queensland.

We have built a business based on our dedication to the Gold Coast area since 1986. We are a group of three strategically located offices in Burleigh Waters, The Pines at Elanora and this role at Palm Beach. This gives us extensive exposure and this is reflected by the range of suburbs we service from Banora Point in the south all the way to Miami in the north, reaching west to Tallebudgera, Varsity Lakes and beyond.

Our group of 3 offices are proud members of the First National network. We have access to all the benefits of a national network without being encumbered with massive franchise fees because we are a cooperative. This means every dollar in fees paid to the network is returned in a dollar of value to our business creating value for marketing, technology, systems and processes to support your success.

Our offices hold current First National Quality Assurance accreditation for our practices and procedures. The First National Quality Assurance System is modeled on ISO 9002 International Standard. If we are not satisfied that were operating at Best Practice, we change our procedures.

Using the network’s resources and our local strength, we have taken our marketing, systems and technology leadership to another level.

Our three offices work collectively and that includes our systems and value adding processes. For example using our systems we are able to consistently achieve vacancy rates about half the RTA estimated industry average for the Gold Coast.

To acquire the skills to work within real estate (especial if you haven’t worked in real estate before) you will need professionally relevant training. This is critical to your start up success with us.  That’s why we engage the industry’s best training and on-going coaching program to ensure your success and get your career moving.

We have our own First National Network training academy, South East Queensland Academy. No matter what level of experience you are at there are targeted courses to equip and hone your skills. Ongoing mentoring programs support you post training to translate your learning into effective management and people skills. Check it out for yourself at
