Chris is also part of the regional group of nine dealerships throughout l NSW. This has allowed us to diversify across multiple brands giving us incredible buying power and financial stability.

Chris is a seasoned sales management professional, originally moving to Dubbo as head of apprentice and training services. He had been a successful sales manager within vehicle sales for ten years before buying in to the business in 2010. Since taking over as Dealer Principal, Chris’s focus has been on creating systems and up skilling all staff. His efforts have paid with his team becoming Ford’s the top dealership in 2013.

Given a dealer principal with a professional history in training you can imagine that we take training very seriously. We have a multi-levelled and structured approach to training, as we are genuinely focused on the professional development of all staff. Chris conducts regular in-house sales training sessions, supplemented by bringing in specialist trainers for advanced sales development. All the while, you will report to and be mentored one of two Sales Managers to close deals while you develop your skills.

Selling cars is no longer about having a chat and going for a drive. Success requires thoroughly understanding our customers to effectively match their needs to the technological complexity of our range while balancing all this with your customers’ personal tastes. There is no room for tired, old sales tricks here. We have a strong ‘customer first’ culture that focuses on delivering to the customers’ needs first and foremost. If we ensure our customers leave with the right vehicle they will seek out our advice the next time and recommend us to their friends.

There is a lot of technology to learn and even if you know nothing about motor vehicles now beyond driving and refuelling them we can guide you to ensure you learn in the most effective way possible setting a path that will speed your progress without being overwhelming. We have access to manufacturer’s extensive product knowledge and resources both on line and in classroom sessions in Sydney. This ensures your understanding of all these fantastic cars and that you become a real product ambassador.

You will be offering around 20 models across 3 great brands. This includes everything from sub-small to family cars, performance saloons, people movers and four-wheel drives through to utilities and work vehicles. A huge range of products all unquestionably reliable, competitively priced and technologically advanced, giving you the ability to connect with all generations of consumers.

Add to this that Ford Australia is going through a fabulously exciting stage repositioning itself into the world car market. While it is sad they are withdrawing local manufacturing this will give us a fuller international product range with the best models from Canada, Europe and the US. This evolution has started in 2013 with the release of the fully imported Eco Sport in the new light SUV category and a further 8 new model launches in the next 6 months. The next stage will be the return of the iconic Mustang later in 2015 progressing to a full new internationally competitive range by 2017.
