You have a dream to list and sell property; you want to make a lot of money. Fair enough, who doesn’t, after all the real estate selling business is home to some of the world’s highest income earners and that’s a fact. Think about it, you’re new to real estate selling and you’re trying to convince home owners that their most valuable asset should be handed to a rookie to sell. HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
First of all this is a dual purpose role.
You with be a Personal Assistant to Darren Latty, Managing Director PRDnationwide Penrith. Darren has twenty years of selling experience in the region and his knowledge, network of contacts and sales record are considerable.
Darren’s world is fast moving and you will be in the thick of it. No amount of training programs will afford you the kind of learning you will get here. What he will look toward you for is turning his fast transaction flow into an orderly process. So, if you enjoy working with systems and turning spontaneous into planned and are keen to learn how the real estate industry works this will be an ideal partnership.
You will take responsibility for e-marketing programs, basic website maintenance and administrative work as required. You will gain a solid working knowledge of how a successful real estate office functions.
Your other key role is as a Buyers Agent. This involves presenting homes at Open Homes and then following up with potential buyers. As your confidence grows Darren will then teach you the art of closing a property sale.
Later these sale successes can become important components of why home owners should trust you with their listings. Instead of being a rookie you will be able to demonstrate selling success in the local community from real sales you have experienced.
While elsewhere new people to the industry are spending all week cold calling you will be doing a diverse range of activities from day one, work that will ultimately equip you to become a fully fledged listing real estate agent with the opportunity to uncap your income. Then you will be able to bid for new listings with credibility and without the ‘rookie’ tag.

- You will need excellent computer literacy with knowledge of MyDeskTop being a real bonus. If you know this package make sure you highlight that to us in your Cover Letter.
- Flexibility with working hours. This is real estate, people work Saturdays and often close deals at night.
- A passion for winning by providing outstanding service. That includes attention to detail and accuracy, all with a “how can I help?” attitude.
- We need to know you have the inherent capacity to SELL and the right attitude to join our team!
