Sydney’s Inner City market and to be exact the Newtown/Enmore/Stanmore/Marrickville circle is Australia’s most robust and steadily growing market.
There are lots of reasons people want to live near the city and we want to mention just a few that brings people in to our side of Sydney even more than the rest of the inner city ring. That includes two of Australia’s most prestigious universities, Australia’s largest teaching hospital, only two stops by train (while the outer suburbs have been pleading for trains for over 30 years) or 15 minutes on a bus from the CBD and our beautiful harbour. We have been providing real estate services since 1927 and as a result have the area’s biggest rent roll. Despite all the advantages our market and office offer a new member we never under estimate the complexity and sophistication of helping our vendors and buyers make the biggest commercial decisions of their life. The enormity of our sales needs extensive and finely tuned sales skills quite different to other sales jobs. We don’t leave you to work any of this for yourself as many other business will.
The first part of this is the careful selection of staff to join our team using a sales specific selection process called Sales Inventory Profile (SIP). We offer only the appropriate people a role with us defined firstly by their ability to sell (even if currently dormant). As we said selling real estate requires specific sales skills and we will only offer a role to candidates we are confident can succeed.
Secondly a market as unique as ours demands existing current market knowledge. This means we give priority to people who have grown up in our area or have been long term residents. We don’t want you to be reciting the benefits of our market as you learned them from a script, we want sales staff who live and believe in the strengths of our area. Only a fellow local can do that.
When you start with us we offer you an extensive initial training program provided by our partner company Synergy First. This is a process that starts with an initial week long training that ensures you have the full process to cover every sales situation.
We then partner you with an experienced sales member to ensure you see how these skills are implemented in practical circumstances and allowing you time to develop your own wording to suit your style without losing sales while you are learning.
Finally our training partner Synergy provides our entire network ongoing training on a weekly/monthly basis to help us stay current with new tools in the market as well as share our sales experience to keep us all current.
